- Discuss how to titrate and adjust medications
- Describe commonly used anti-seizure medications in terms of their use, side effect profiles, and therapeutic drug monitoring considerations
- Identify pros and cons of new vs. old anti-seizure medications
- Discuss considerations for combining AEDs in the treatment of epilepsy
- Discuss recommendations for AED withdrawal
- Describe common issues regarding withdrawal of AEDs
- Explore classes of medications that are highly susceptible to AED interactions
- Discuss management implications of AED and drug interactions (dosage adjustment)
